Hurford Youth Fellowship Program for Youth Leaders in Washington DC

 

The Hurford Program seeks to build the leadership skills, enhance the organizational talents, and harness the potential of emerging democracy leaders from around the world. Through the Hurford program, three young activists will spend four months at NED, during which time they will contribute to the development of the World Youth Movement. A project developing online discussion platforms to generate active engagement among World Youth Movement members around the world will be central to each fellowship.

2016-2017 Microsoft Research Women’s Fellowship

Applications are ongoing for the Microsoft Research Women’s Fellowship. The fellowship provides funding to a select list of academic universities that will each award a US$20,000 fellowship to one woman who has interest in pursuing a PhD and in need of financial assistance. In addition, Microsoft Research will create opportunities for each fellowship recipient to engage with Microsoft researchers in their domain of study and connect with each other in a collaborative community.

The Australia Awards John Allwright Fellowship is a scholarship offered by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) and co-funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. John Allwright Fellowships are awarded to partner-country scientists involved in ACIAR-supported collaborative research projects to undertake postgraduate training at Australian universities.

EPFL offers Excellence Fellowships at the Master’s level

 

EPFL offers a limited number of fellowships at the Master’s level to students with outstanding academic records. Some of the fellowships are financed by EPFL directly and others through partnerships with foundations or companies.

Applications can be filled online from mid-November to the 15 January, or from the 16 January to the 15 April. Candidates who need a visa are strongly advised to apply by the January deadline.

YSEALI Professional Fellows Program (Fully-Funded)

The YSEALI Professional Fellows Program is a professional development exchange program for the best and brightest community leaders from ASEAN, working in the fields of civic engagement, NGO management, economic empowerment, governance, legislative process, environmental and natural resources management. The YSEALI Professional Fellows Program provides participants a month-long fellowship at U.S.-based non-profit or other organizations, government offices or legislative bodies. Fellows will work with community leaders to enhance their practical expertise, leadership skills and professional contacts to address issues in their home communities.
