Mo Ibrahim Foundation’s MyAfrica Photo Competition ($10,000 USD Award)
As Mo Ibrahim Foundation begins its 10th year anniversary, all Africans are invited to take part in the MIF MyAfrica photo competition.

MyAfrica is an opportunity for photographers of all abilities and ages to capture their vision of Africa through their own lenses. MIF is seeking images that capture Africa in its many diverse settings and communities, depicting what developments, challenges and opportunities could potentially look like over the next 10 years.


Entry Categories
There are three categories:
·         professional
·         amateur
·         under 18s.
Eligibility/Entry Requirements
·         Entrants must be African nationals.
·         Photographs submitted must be taken in Africa by the person entering the competition
·         Only one original image may be submitted per person, to one of the three categories

Prizes
One winner will be selected from each category, with prizes of $10,000 USD awarded to each of the three winners. In the case of the under 18s winner, the prize money will be split equally between the student and his/her school.

How to Enter
To submit an entry, visit HERE, upload your photo, and fill in the online form. All photographs must be submitted by 17:00 BST on Friday, 3 June 2016. Please read the full terms & conditions before you enter for this contest. 
Entries will be judged by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation team and the winners announced on the MIF website and social media channels. A selection of the best photographs will be displayed in an exhibition at the 10 year celebration, and selected entries will also be displayed on the Mo Ibrahim Foundation website.
